Overlooking the 16th century Castle Menzies, seat of the Menzies clan to the present day, Garden Cottage has unrivaled views across the Tay valley in any season. Built to house one of the 7 permanent staff tending the Victorian walled garden it boasts its own access to the garden which is nowadays open to the public. With its curved dormers it brings a fairytale quality to any stay in Highland Perthshire. Having been recently refurbished Garden Cottage offers a comfortable base to explore the wonders of the Southern Highlands of Scotland.
Garden Cottage sleeps a maximum of 6 people with its 2 double bedrooms (1 large, 1 small) and 1 twin bedroom. All bedrooms are on the upper floor and all are equipped with wardobes and chests of drawers for clothes storage. Bedroom furniture and carpets are new for the start of the 2010 season.
The kitchen has modern fitted units with a central island. There is a gas cooking range, a microwave and woodburning stove.
