At Avoncraig you\’ll feel as if you\’ve got away from it all but have the convenience of being only minutes from town. The location is extremely quiet with no through traffic and from the dining room you can look across the town to the island of Kerrerra.
Accommodation – double room and twin room, both en-suite, with central heating, freesat TVs, tea/coffee facilities and hairdryers.
Avoncraig is so close to McCaig\’s Tower and its fantastic views you can walk there in about a minute. Just stroll over if you see the start of a beautiful sunset or hear the pipes and drums of Oban Pipe Band who often perform inside the Tower. Why not take a picnic and watch the ferries to the islands. Your host (Fiona)is happy to lend you picnic rugs/plates etc.
Breakfast is either a full cooked Scottish Breakfast or a Continental Breakfast with warm rolls/croissants, oatcakes, fresh fruit, smoked salmon and a selection of cheeses.
