Full of history with the best medieval cathedral in Europe, with a stunning roof tour under the eaves of this great Cathedral. Stand above the main entrance & see how the measurements of years ago, didn't quite make it!
Visit one of only three copies of Magna Carta available to the public, on show in the grounds of Lincoln Castle. Awalk the ramparts & see the views over this magnificent City. For those wanting shopping, then try the famous Steep Hill. Flat shoes are need for this, wonderful individual shops, a readers rest for the book worms & much more. Traditional shops can be found in the High Street, where a visit to the Guildhall is a must. The Silver on display, is some of the best, outside London & the tour guides give you an insight into the workings of the mayor & his officers.
Tickets can be purchased at the Tourist Information offices close by. Night life for the young offers lots of choice, or you can try the Theatre Royal or the Drill Hall for a varied selection of plays, music & much more.
