The Shropshire Stretton Hills, Hawkestone Park
By Sue Mansfield - 26th of January 2007
Shropshire is England's best kept secrets... If you are interested in walking, cycling or just dreaming, the view from the top of Grinshill Hill with the pretty villages of Clive and Grinshill nestling on each side, is worth the trip.
You can see the Shropshire Plain with the Wrekin, the Stretton Hills and the Welsh hills beyond. The Follies at Hawkestone Park, Ellesmere the lake district of Shropshire, the canals, meres and mosses.....I could go on and on.......
