Robin Hoods Bay near Whitby, Yorkshire

Added 26th of January 2007

If you are ever near the Yorkshire coast try to have a lok at Robin Hood's Bay. It is about five miles south of Whitby. It is very picturesque and beautiful. Great for anyone into photography.

The walk down from the carpark to the sea front can be a steep and bit of haul on the way back. Great excuse to stop in one of the tea shops for a Yorkshire Tea. It is well worth the effort - the beach can be great for fossil hunting. The only fossil I ever found was on the beach here.
