Llandanwg Campsite in Snowdonia

By James - Near Coventry - Added 26th of January 2007

My wife and I (also my dog, Finley) recently enjoyed four days in Snowdonia National Park. We stopped at a campsite called Llechrwd Farm. The weather held up very well, and we got to enjoy much of the excellent mountains and beaches in the very non-commercialised local area.

We especially remember our visit to the beach at Llandanwg; very sanding with some amasing rocky features. Do stop by at the nearby cafe at the entrance to the beach at Llandanwg. The hospitalty was second to none and the food was superb.

It was a good holiday...very surreal looking at the welsh mountains if you decide to drive to North Wales from Mid Wales. We would like to have walked up Snowdon, but not enough hours in the day.
